Amar Bhashar Chalachitra
Amar Bhasar Chalachchitra is the biggest Bengali language-based film festival organised by the Dhaka University Film Society (DUFS).
Every year, in February this festival upholds the significance of International Mother Language Day and pays tribute to the martyrs of the 1952 Language Movement.
International Inter University Short Film Festival
The International Inter University Short Film Festival, also known as IIUSFF, started its journey back in 2007. With the slogan ‘Take Your Camera, Frame Your Dream’, the goal of this festival is to provide an international platform for the university going students and filmmakers both in Bangladesh and abroad.
Film for Freshers
‘Film for Freshers’ is a regular event of Dhaka University Film Society. This film exhibition festival has been celebrated almost every year since 2000.
‘Film for Freshers’ is an attempt to welcome the freshers of the campus to the colorful world of cinema. This day-long event will be held at the TSC premises with a mixture of classical and contemporary cinema.
